I wasn't very attached to my Chibi-Wolf's Rain series in my salad days, so I started something a bit new in regards to AnthroCon and the furry fans Part of my Anthro-themed Wolf's Rain collection: Hige.
Hige's got to be the most fun to color, both anthro- and wolf-version I'm very fond of out-going characters like him (even though I'm more of a homebody at heart). The ard part was finding the right colors in the HSB mixer that was just the right shade for his shirt and fur -- shadow-wise. I decided to use a separate layer with 'Multiply' at a slightly low opacity. That went well, I think.
Note: I've not watched the entire series to the end, since I know BONES' reputation for character deaths. However, my sister is very fond of the story, as well as the soundtrack (which I still gotta listen to me'self, being a Yoko Kanno fan) So credit goes to sis for color theme suggestions.

I love your whole Wolf's Rain series (even though the ending of the series made me hate the series altogether XD), and Hige was always my favorite so I figured I'd tell you "great job" here! So, great job! You really captured everyone's personalities. And good job to your sister for the color choices!
Omg!! It's Hige! I just started wolf's rain. I remember trying to catch it on adult swim a few years ago, but never got around to it. But the subbed ver. is way better anyway ^^.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
