A trade art with -- she simply asked me to do the Harry Potter characters as anthros. The only hard part about it was... What animal would best describe their personalities and backgrounds?!
I thought I'd ask Terrie Smith about it (sent her an email), but instead of a respons from her, Glen Wooten gave me the insight I needed. Thanks, Glen!
So here they are: Harry, as a regular husky dog; Ron, as a rabbit (since his family tends to breed like 'em and Hermione, as a cat, which was deffinetly a no-brainder, if you remember her demise in the second book with the transformation spell: "No animal hair in the drink." I'm tempted to sell a print of this at the CaliFur convention this year -- the regulars from ConDor come over to our art show as well, and the lot of them are Harry Potter, Lord of the Ring, Pirates of the Carribean, and Star Wars/Star Trek fans as well
Colored with Copic markers, Prismacolor pencils, and a bit of Sakura white pen. Hope you like it, Goldy! I must admit, it was quite a challenge

Teeheehee! Awwww. This is adorable! And I love the concept too...those animals really go with the guys (and gal's) personalities. :3 And I love the expressions! Especially Ron's, poor bunny-boy, he looks so confused. XD A hare really fits him, since they're lanky and a little awkward, but still downright cute...Hermione as a cat is very fitting too, with her cleverness. x3 I really like the choice of coloring on her...and I like Harry as a husky, since it's different, and him as a loyal puppy really seems to fit well...
Anyhoo. Really adorable! I'm sure she will love/ loved it. :3
Thanks for the extended comments! It really makes my day, indeed
Yes, a rabbit really does fit him well; I was tempted to draw him as a rat, but Glen was smart enough to provide me the extended brainstorm fer that. He is a bigger furry nut than I am, and he's quite experiences at it, being the director for various Californian art show conventions.

They look ever so cute on this drawing, especially their faces. I love the background too, great half of the trade.
