I donated blood today. No, not at the Red Blood Bank, but at the UCSD Clinical Research Center. They're doing a study on HIV, lack-thereof, that is, since I'm the only virgin in this entire freakin' town Well, don't forget sis, and Mom's a healthy horse, so she's eligible.

I've donated to the Blood Bank, before, but I had to stop because they kept turning me away due to low iron percentage and/or high temperatures. They don't realize that my temperature's ALWAYS at 99.0 degrees Fahrenheit, because I'm a mountain-dweller descent. Plus, one time I tried to donate platelets, things didn't go very well, and they asked me not to go there anymore, since they're afraid of damaging me again. I think they either stuck the needle in incorrectly, thus putting the blood back in caused an ugly bruise, or I just don't bleed very good on the left arm.

This time around, I'm donating for SCIENCE! And some cash. Not the first time I've been a Guinea Pig; the UCSD Neural Development has been like my second hang-out place since I was little.

So I know for sure I'm not HIV-positive if they're taking blood from me now

All I gotta do now is wait for the seventy bucks to come in the mail

As of this point, even though we've only met the guy, Red XIII is my favorite Final Fantasy character. What canni say? I'm a cat fanatic.

However, me and sis are still NEW to the universe/fandom, so DON'T SPAZZ OUT ON HERE LIKE A FANTARD, PEOPLE. We're goin' at it at our own pace.

Sis's mainly playing the game, but I'm watching it along with her; I can't play RPGs because of my short attention span We've gotten as far as arriving at the first town outside Midgar and Cloud explains (to us clueless audience ) his reasons to suspect Sephiroth.

So thus far, I can definitely see why it's so dang popular among the populace. It's very interesting to behold, even for its time during '97. We never had a PSOne, but we got into the gaming fringe 'round the time PS2 was in full-marketing scale.

I know this will all end in tears, hearing certain 'spoilers' about, but I wanna see HOW it happens, anyway. This is gonna be rather epic to go thru, especially for us noobs.
